Pattern of Computer Based Examination in Constable GD
- Constable GD Examination will be 100 points.
- In the question paper, 100 interactive questions of one number will be asked.
- The question paper will be in four parts, 25-25 questions will be asked from all parts.
- The examination will ask questions of general intelligence, reasoning, general awareness, general knowledge, mathematics, and English. The examination will be one and a half hours.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Mathematics, Hindi, and English questions will be asked in the examination.
- 90 minutes will be available for the exam.
The application process for the Constable GD examination for central security forces on behalf of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will commence from 25th March 2021. Applications for Constable GD will be taken up by 10th May 2021. The Commission would conduct the first phase of the computer-based examination for Constable GD between August 2 and 25. Under Constable GD, constable posts will be recruited for CISF including SSB, CAPFs, CRPF, Assam Rifles, BSF, ITBP. On behalf of the Commission, the Constable will have to give computer-based (CBT) and physical efficiency tests (PET) for recruitment. Questions of Class X level will be asked in CBT.
Syllabus for Examination
Under general intelligence and reasoning-analytical aptitude, questions related to economic reasoning, alphanumeric series, blood relation, coding-decoding, clock-calendar, cube and dice, mirror image, non-verbal series, number ranking, statements, spectral visualization, visual memory, discrimination, arithmetic number series, etc., will be asked.
General knowledge and general awareness-civics, current affair, country-capital-currency, India’s famous sites, books and authors, general science, geography, heritage, invention and discovery, important dates, Indian history, Indian economics, Indian polity, Indian Parliament, environment, tourism, sports, constitution,
etc.
Math-number system, calculation of complete numbers, decimal and fraction, the relationship between numbers, fundamental mathematics, percentage, ratio and proportion, profit-loss, interest, discount, time and distance, ratio and time, time and work, etc. Hindi-English-Comprehension Writing, Communication Formation, Para Jambals, Antonyms-Synonyms, etc.

The SSC said the candidates are selected on the basis of a Computer-based Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, and Medical Test. Last year, the SSC had announced to fill a total of 54593 vacancies in the Constable (GD) Recruitment (SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021). A total of 30,41,284 candidates had appeared for the exam (SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021).
In the meantime, the SSC has released the result of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination on 15 January. Candidates who have passed the examination will appear for the Subjective Paper. The registration process of the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination is currently open.
